High in Peru’s Cajamarca region, a new association has formed, “Alpes Andido” geared toward high quality through good practices and equality. Growing traditional varieties Typica, Red Caturra and Yellow Bourbon well adapted to the high elevation of the farm,
giving more concentrated complex bouquet than the high yield hybrids. Elmer Cruz
Guerrero named his farm “El Bosque”, “the forest” in tribute to the amount of old native trees present on the farm.
